In general, I am a lawyer by education. I graduated from the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” and am very proud. But after working as a lawyer, one day, I realized that I wanted to start with a clean slate. Most of all, I wanted to work remotely. And only later, among all specialities, I found QA Manual. I have been choosing between UI/UX Design and QA for a long time. My friends advised me to study at Beetroot Academy. A close friend of mine completed courses for a project manager, after which she quickly found a job. So I decided to master the QA Manual. I got everything I wanted while studying, but it would be nice to pay more attention to API testing. Nastya gave excellent homework feedback, which became the basis of my interest in studying. I was surprised that we quickly figured out API testing and SQL. Two weeks after completing the course, I found my first job in Djinni. The result of completing the first test task was an offer; I received the second offer month later when I was already working. Now I work for an international company that deals with SRM and telephony. We cover about 30 geographical areas.

I studied the QA Manual course at Beetroot Academy, and it was incredible! The theory at the Academy is presented in a structured, concise way, and most importantly, it meets the requirements for vacancies. As for the practical online lessons with the teacher, I was pleasantly surprised. Each lesson, the teacher (Alexey Chistyakov, Senior QA Engineer) conducted a theory quiz, which motivated me to prepare and study materials for each lesson. Lessons with the teacher were built on practice, after each lesson there was a homework assignment, after which I received detailed feedback from the teacher. I would like to thank the Beetroot Academy educational advisers and group coordinators who advised me on the course and supported me throughout my studies! It was also a nice bonus to get advice from the teacher and HR on employment and how to properly prepare a resume. I would also like to note that if you devote enough time to studying, you can really get all the necessary knowledge for your first QA job.
