Social impact is what drives us. We measure our success not by the number of students, but by the quality of the changes that occur in their career paths in IT.
Our journey began in 2014, following Russia's invasion of Crimea and Donbas. It was a pilot project to help Ukrainian internally displaced persons (IDPs) become IT specialists and rebuild their lives and sources of income. That’s when we saw the great potential of IT education as a tool to help people affected by the war, and we grew into a startup.

Mission
To help people build careers in the digital economy.
Vision
To create a world-class EdTech company that changes people's lives through IT education.
Impact is our heart
At Beetroot Academy, social impact is at the core of everything we do. This means we prioritize impact over profit. Learn more about how we change lives through high-quality and affordable IT education in our reports.
In partnership with international institutions such as USAID, UNFPA, ACTED, Pact, Sida, and the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we provide scholarships for veterans, people from vulnerable groups, women from rural areas, and survivors of gender-based violence.
The Academy is more than just the number of graduates, instructors, and partners. It is a community of "beetroots" who share common values and beliefs.
Trust
We trust each other unconditionally.
Equality
Mutual respect above all.
Sustainability
We care for ourselves, the Academy, and the planet.
Responsibility
For every word and action.
Integrity
We fully commit to our work.
Transparency
We share both successes and failures.
And here's how the Academy's values look in action:
The team of "beetroots" works, volunteers, and serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Teachers come to teach classes in our shared Beetroot spaces in various cities across Ukraine.
International donors and partners support IT education and provide scholarships to those who need them most.
Together, we also take time to relax.
We help our military by uniting our efforts.
Students learn new professions despite power outages and nighttime sirens.
Partner IT companies recommend our graduates.
Pets are also part of the Academy community.
Let's get to know each other better!
