About the Role
As COO, you’ll work closely with the leadership team, board members, and key partners to overseeing our strategy while making sure things run smoothly day to day. This role is a blend of vision and execution—seeing the bigger picture while making sure we follow through on what matters. You’ll take part in shaping our direction, align resources effectively, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Your Responsibilities
- Work closely with the team, leadership, and board to shape and drive the vision, strategy, and long-term goals of Beetroot Academy.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and explore new revenue opportunities.
- Support collaboration and ensure smooth alignment across teams.
- Prepare key insights and reports for board members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Guide company-wide goal setting and track performance.
- Improve internal processes and organizational structure to enhance efficiency.
- Keep the company adaptable and responsive to industry trends and challenges.
- Foster a culture of learning, innovation, and inclusivity within the team.
- Represent Beetroot Academy at industry events and initiatives.
What We Expect from You
Experience & Background
- Proven experience in a leadership role (e.g., team leading roles with business expertise, senior executive, or similar), preferably in education, edtech, or IT.
- 5+ years of experience within education, edtech, or IT.
- Strong expertise in operations management and business strategy.
- A track record of leading teams, driving growth, and managing budgets.
- Experience with board governance and stakeholders relations is a plus.
- Familiarity with grant management is a plus.
- C1 level of English is required.
