Success stories of our beets

Before studying at the academy, I had not worked anywhere; I only studied at the university, majoring in Computer Science, where I had time to try a little bit of everything related to IT except for UI/UX design. For me, IT has always been something about development, innovation, comfort and prospects. I tried myself as a programmer, tester and manager during my years of study at the university. However, none of the professions listed above caused me the passion and desire to continue. All was different with UI/UX. After watching videos on YouTube and the first attempts to create an interface, I decided to continue and started looking for relevant courses. I searched and compared many courses, but Beetroot Academy hooked me with its approach to learning. I really liked the course selection process and the conditions offered to me, so I started my journey with Beetroot Academy. My studying experience was excellent. Our group was quite lucky with our mentor Pavlo Hladkov. He gave 200% during the course, worked overtime, gave great feedback and advice, and did his best to provide us with a solid foundation to start a career in UI/UX. This experience helped me find a job immediately after graduating from the academy because one of the company's representatives was interested in me during the presentation of my graduation thesis. I want to note the mentor's dedication, professionalism, and love for what he does. Pavlo was accommodating and gave us all the necessary knowledge. So, I found a job right after graduating from the academy. After my thesis presentation, our mentor forwarded my CV and link to my graduation thesis to an interested company representative. After that, I passed the interview and received a job offer. We graduated from the academy at the end of June, and at the beginning of August, I already had a job. Now I continue to work at the 1648 factory. I started working as an Intern UX/UI Designer, but now hold a Junior level position.

I have been looking for myself for a very long time. I worked in a hotel, at the reception desk in a sports club, as a manicurist, a hair removal specialist, and a florist, and for the longest time, I worked in the confectionery business. I baked confectionery to order for cafes and restaurants. But I was always jealous of my husband, who could go to another country without stopping his work. You see, taking flour and sugar or a food processor with you on a trip is not very convenient. When the quarantine began, and restaurants closed, I was in despair. There is no work; there is no development. I was bored as never before until I remembered my dream, which I had been putting off forever because I was afraid that I would not be able to do it. But I slept and dreamt about working anywhere, earning more, and being more free and confident. I wanted something more to depend on me. I wanted to be needed. And I thought that no one could stop me from trying it. I wanted to "taste" my dream. And I started looking for courses. Everything was somehow bland, not "sweet", and not interesting. But that was before I remembered that Beetroot Academy existed. I fell in love at first sight! I saw an exciting program; the course description was more than detailed and beautifully designed. I did not hesitate for a second. In the beginning, I was apprehensive that I would fail and lag behind. But the lessons were enjoyable and interesting. If something needed to be clarified, the teacher always explained it as many times as required. For this, she has great respect and gratitude. And in 2 months, I received my first offer, and I'm still working at my dream job. I want to note how dedicated our teacher was to his work! I could talk for hours about how wonderful she was. She answered our questions at night, during the day, and in the morning; she helped us so much and gave us valuable and interesting information — our sweet pea. Two months after graduation, I was actively looking for a job. And I found it, and I work here to this day. It is a ChekRite product company based in Australia. It is a very cool project. We are talking about the web resource, which is synchronized with mobile applications on Android and iOS. Our application helps to get rid of paper documentation for all kinds of factories, farms, and farmers who conduct hundreds of paper audits every day. Our product allows you to save time and trees.
