The Springboard to Equality project, supported by UNFPA, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, aimed to improve the economic security of victims of gender-based violence. The main goal of the initiative is to provide participants with access to training programs that help restore their psychological well-being and open up new career opportunities.
The Beetroot Academy training programs are an integral part of a broader program that provides a comprehensive approach to supporting beneficiaries. The program includes psychological support to overcome traumatic experiences, development of professional IT skills, and individual career counseling.
Thanks to this project, more than 800 women have been able to not only learn in-demand IT skills but also restore their self-confidence and build a new professional future. The project demonstrates how technology education can be a powerful tool for overcoming the effects of violence and creating a sustainable foundation for women's economic independence.
